Five-year bill will set policies and reauthorize farm, conservation, nutrition, rural development, agricultural trade and more
President Trump signed The Agriculture Improvement Act of 2018, commonly known as the farm bill, into law Thursday afternoon, reportsThe Washington Post.
“We have to take care of our farmers and ranchers, and we will take care of them,” Trump said at the signing ceremony.
The House adopted the House-Senate conference report by 369-47 last week, a day after the Senate had approved the legislation 87-13.
