BioResource Names VP of Sales

BioResource International, Inc. (BRI), a global biotechnology company specializing in the research, development and manufacture of high-performance enzyme feed additives for optimizing animal nutrition and gut health, appoints Nasser Odetallah, Ph.D. as vice president of sales.

In this role, Dr. Odetallah will oversee BRI’s growing portfolio of feed additive solutions with a special emphasis on new products, as well as manage the company’s worldwide sales network.

Dr. Odetallah comes to BRI with more than 30 years of experience in the animal science and biotechnology fields. Most recently, he served as executive manager of global technical services for Novus International. Prior to that, Dr. Odetallah held many positions in the industry including senior scientist, director of nutrition research, global product champion & manager in addition to owning and operating a commercial broiler production farm earlier in his career.

A seasoned expert in animal feed additives, Dr. Odetallah has authored and co-authored dozens of peer-reviewed journals and trade articles. He has an undergraduate degree in production and management, a master’s degree in animal nutrition and microbiology, and a Ph.D. in nutrition with a focus on alleviating enteric disorders in poultry via the use of enzymes. During his post-doctoral fellowship at North Carolina State University, Dr. Odetallah conducted research on xylanase enzymes to improve poultry nutrition, as well as assisting BRI co-founder Dr. Jason Shih in ground-breaking research with keratinase enzymes.
