Technology Tops Elevator Trends

Technology as big data, computerized delivery systems, improved customer service or any other digital service is an overarching issue at country elevators these days, reportsAgriNews.

To help put technology and other issues into perspective, industry experts shared a range of perspectives at the recent Country Elevator Conference, hosted by the U.S. Grain and Feed Association.

"I think there’s going to be a lot of technology changes," said Dave Baudler with Cargill. "We’ve made some decisions to enter into a joint venture to move that forward. I think the important thing is to understand why you’re doing it.”
