GrainsConnect Fraser Grain Terminal Fully Operational

GRAINECONNECT加拿大announces its port operation in Surrey, BC, the Fraser Grain Terminal (FGT), is fully operational.

“The commissioning process is complete,” said Warren Stow, president of Calgary-headquartered GrainsConnect Canada.

“Our partner,P&H National Grain Asset Network, and GrainsConnect Canada are equipped to maximize the advantages of FGT’s capacity and infrastructure throughout 2022 and beyond.”

GrainsConnect says the new facility replaces blighted warehousing and brings needed capacity and efficient infrastructure for grain exports to Canada’s western gateway.

The Fraser Grain Terminal includes:

• 25 above-ground steel storage silos
• Three shiploaders with choke fed and cascading type telescopic spouts to reduce dust during vessel loading
• Semi-loop rail track

• Transfer system comprising above-ground conveying equipment

FGT is the culmination of the GrainsConnect Canada supply chain, designed and implemented to connect historically important growing regions in Western Canada to new export markets.
