This year's events honors veterans
Cargill employees across the country used their annual Green Day — or Founders Day — celebration to honor veterans, reportsThe Emporia Gazette.
Emporia, KS, Plant Manager Greg Margeson says all of the more than 50 locations in the United States took part in this celebration.
In Emporia, Cargill workers converged on Peter Pan Park, where they enjoyed a meal and presented gifts to three veteran families, including a Vietnam veteran and the family of an active duty soldier.
