Multiple emergency crews responded Friday afternoon to Trent facility
Multiple emergency crews responded July 1 to a Trent, South Dakota, grain elevator after a fire broke out.
According toreports, the town’s grain elevatorcollapsedFriday evening.
The elevator was considered a landmark in the town.
The firecontinued burningafter the elevator, which had corn in it, collapsed about 8 p.m.
There were no injuries reported and the cause of the fire is not yet known.
