Victim died after falling into bin trying to clear grain

A LaMoille, IL, man was pronounced dead at the scene of a grain bin accident late Tuesday night, LaMoille Fire Chief Brent Becker said.

TheNews Tribunereports the deceased, Roger L. Cogdal, 73, died after falling into the bin trying to clear grain.

The 10,000- to 12,000-bushel bin was emptied and the victim extricated by midnight, Becker said.
