New mill in Peru, IN, will produce 250,000 tons annually
Delphi-based Indiana Packers Corp. (IPC) has cut the ribbon on a $24 million swine feed operation in Miami County reports在印第安纳州Business.
IPC subsidiary OP Nutrition will run the Peru, IN, mill, which is expected to produce some 4,800 tons of feed/week. The double-shift facility will employ 12.
The company says most of the 250,000 tons produced annually are expected to make its way to farms within 70 miles of Peru. Construction took about 18 months.
