34-year-old man was found unresponsive in a grain bin Tuesday afternoon
A man died after becoming trapped in a grain bin in central Minnesota on Tuesday.
TheStearns County Sheriff's Officesaid in a news release that responders were called to Oak Township Tuesday afternoon.
The caller said a 34-year-old man was unresponsive after being found in the grain bin by a family member.
Thomas Holdvogt, of Freeport, MN, was taken out of the bin by firefighters and lifesaving efforts started.
He was taken to the hospital and later pronounced dead.
The Midwest Medical Examiner’s Office is conducting an autopsy to determine the cause and manner of death.
