USDA Crop Progress Report says only half of corn is silking
The U.S. corn and soybean crops conditions did not improve in the past week, according to theUSDA’s Weekly Crop Progress Reportreleased Monday.
According to a report atSuccessful Farming, USDA pegged 35% of the corn crop was in the silk stage, compared with a 66% five-year average.
