Crews responded to a Bunge North America plant in Decatur, AL, on last Friday afternoon after a fire ignited inside of a silo at the facility.
According to a report atPowder & Bulk Solids, crews were called to the Market Street NE plant at about 3 p.m. for heavy smoke coming from the structure upon arrival.
Soybeans in the storage silo were damaged by the fire, but the fire did not damage the silo itself.
