Man killed in CHS grain terminal truck accident in Iowa

73-year-old man was struck by a dump truck and killed at the CHS Davenport grain facility in Buffalo, Iowa.

A 73-year-old man was struck by a truck and killed at theCHSDavenport grain terminal in Buffalo, Iowa, on September 19.

Astatementfrom the Buffalo Police Department said emergency crews were dispatched to the facility. Upon arrival, the man, Gerald Boldt of Boldt Trucking, Davenport, Iowa, was found trapped under the rear wheels of a tandem dump truck. He was pronounced dead a the scene.

The accident is under investigation by the Iowa State Police.
