One person is dead after an equipment accident that happened June 17, according to aFacebook postby Sumter County Fire Rescue (SCFR).
SCFR was dispatched at 1:36 p.m. to reports of a person pinned under heavy equipment at thePlains Experiment Station, a research station at theUniversity of Georgia,穿过公路ge of Agricultural & Environmental Sciences Tifton Campus in Tifton, GA.
After officials arrived at the scene, they reported a grain bin elevator had collapsed trapping one victim who had already been removed by facility employees.
Resuscitative efforts by emergency personnel were unsuccessful.
Officials have not identified the person who died.
