
A grain bin incident involving an employee occurred June 16 atCrystal Valley Cooperativein Hope, MN.
According to the company, emergency services were called to Hope around 9:20 p.m, and rescue efforts began as soon as they arrived.
A Crystal Valley employee became fullyengulfed in a grain binwhile loading a train, leading to his death.
According toreports, the sheriff’s office identified the employee as 36-year-old Paul Jasper Frantum, of Pemberton.
Crystal Valley said Frantum was loading a train when he got trapped in the bin.
"Crystal Valley extends their heartfelt appreciation to the emergency services and volunteers on site," the company said in a statement. "Our deepest condolences go out to the employee's family and friends.
