North Dakota Soybean Processors crushing plant will have 42.5M bushel/year capacity
Construction of the North Dakota Soybean Processors crushing plant could begin in the first months of 2019, according to Scott Austin, CEO of North Dakota Soybean Processors, reportsInforum.
Austin said in emails Tuesday that the company could start construction in the middle of the first quarter of 2019.
The North Dakota Soybean Processors crushing plant was announced in February 2017. The project is planned for a 150-acre site. The facility will have a capacity of 42.5 million bushels/year. The plant originally had an estimated cost of $287 million and will employ between 55 and 60 workers.
Completion of the plant and processing of soybeans are slated for the fall of 2020.
