No one was injured during a grain elevator fireaccordingto KATU News, at the Temco LLC elevator on the Columbia River in Kalama, WA.
The elevator is used to unload barges and had just finished unloading a barge before it caught fire. A tugboat was able to move that barge away from the fire and no one was injured during the fire.
Forty-two workers and firefighters helped put out the fire.At the time of this writing, the damage has not been determined nor has the cause.
