TheNewcastle Herald's Brodie Owen reported on a blaze at GrainCorp's Carrington silos in Newcastle, NSW, Australia. The fire erupted at 4:30 p.m. Monday afternoon. Eight fire units arrived to battle the blaze and emergency crews remained on scene for two hour, although no injuries were reported. Local authorities could not establish a cause of the fire and handed the investigation to the Port of Newcastle.
