
Multiple public-safety agencies have reported Monday morning to an apparent grain elevator explosion west of Eureka, IL, according to authorities.
TheJournal Starreports about 6:15 a.m., the Woodford County Sheriff’s Office received a call about a grain-dryer explosion or fire at Grainland Cooperative, according to a dispatcher.
Jeff Brooks, the Grainland general manager, said he was notified at about the same time.
Nobody was at work at Grainland at the time, according to Brooks.
