A grain bin that caught fire last week continues to smolder and occasionally flare up, firefighters said.
According toWGEM, flames could be seen inside the grain bin near Loraine, IL, early Tuesday morning as it flared up for the third time in a week.
Brent Clair with the Loraine Fire Department told WGEM the grain bin has been smoldering since last Wednesday, and to fully extinguish the fire, the grain bin would need to be dismantled and the grain spread out.
