An Olivia, MN man was severely injured in a grain elevator accident Monday, reportsWillmar Radio.
Matthew Rice, 26, was working inside the United Farmers Coop Elevator in Bird Island, MN, around 1:30 p.m. Monday when he fell several stories and was trapped inside.
Responders were able to locate Rice inside of the structure 40 to 50 feet below where he had been working.
Rice was extricated then airlifted from the hospital with severe injuries.
