Emergency crews were sent to the Poulin Grain feed plant in Newport, VT last Wednesday after a blaze ignited at the facility.
“我们的新港,VT设施经历了小等pment fire last night. We’re grateful to our employees and fire department for a quick response, no injuries, and very minimal damage,” Poulin Grain said ina statementon its Facebook page.
WCAXreportedthe fire was out by Thursday morning. The company said operations returned to normal the following day.
No information on the cause of the incident was available.
Poulin Grainhas four mill manufacturing locations in Newport, Swanton and Bennington, VT and Canton, NY.
