A man suffered serious injuries afterfallinginside a grain elevator in Garfield, Washington, on February 15.
According toreports, the 60-year-old man fell 30 feet through an opening where grain trucks dump loads into the bottom of the elevator.
Several local fire departments responded to the call to the elevator on 3rd Street, listed as thePacific Northwest (PNW) Farmers Cooperative. The man was rescued by a technical ropes team and flown to the hospital to treat several broken bones.
The man is listed in serious but stable condition.
