
The attorney for a Bowling Green businessman embroiled in a lawsuit against a former city electrical inspector says the city and its insurer are “taking a great risk” in appealing a recent ruling in the case, as interest on an initial judgment in 2012 has pushed the amount potentially owed to Lowe’s Feed and Grain to about $1.6 million – almost double the original verdict of $850,000.
