Brock Grain Systems/CTB Announce Employee Promotions

Five employees receive new responsibilities

David Chester is promoted to buyer/planner

David Chester has been promoted to buyer/p lanner for Brock Grain Systems, according to Cary Carter, Vice President of Supply Chain and Operational Excellence for the CTB, Inc. Frankfort, Indiana facility.

Chester’s new responsibilities include researching, sourcing, and evaluating vendors as well as managing the inventory levels and accuracy to ensure company goals and customer ordering timelines are met.

A CTB employee since 2014, Chester recently held the position of Warehouse Lead where he monitored the day-to-day activities of the warehouse including organizing the shipment of customer orders in a timely manner and transferring parts from the warehouse to the plant for use on assembling Brock’s variety of dryers. He also designed safety measures and trained new employees.

Prior to his employment with CTB, Chester gained six months of experience in the automotive industry as a Machine Operator where he operated machinery to form gears for transmissions and move parts from one department to another.

Chester is a graduate of Ivy Tech Community College, Indianapolis, IN. He is originally from Frankfort, IN, and currently resides in Indianapolis, IN.

Grain Knobloch named product manager for Brock Grain Systems

Grant Knobloch has been named product manager of conditioning systems forBrock Grain Systems.

Knobloch will manage projects and programs to help increase market share and ensure profitable sales of Brock’s conditioning product line. This involves understanding customer needs, market trends and channel opportunities, while working closely with the sales team to improve service, value-added solutions and customer experiences.

Prior to joining CTB, Knobloch worked for a leading manufacturer of agricultural equipment, most recently as a product specialist. He also gained valuable experience co-owning and managing his family’s purebred Berkshire hog farm.

A graduate of Purdue University in West Lafayette, IN, Knobloch has a bachelor’s degree in agricultural systems management. He is a native of Wolcott, Indiana, and is moving to Milford, IN, for his new position with CTB.

James Anderson moves to supply chain manager for LeMar

James Anderson has been promoted to supply chain manager forLeMar Industries, a subsidiary of Brock Grain Systems.

He will report to Cary Carter, vice president of supply chain and operational excellence for Brock Grain Systems, while also coordinating with Nick Kiederlen, plant manager for LeMar’s Des Moines, IA, facility.

In his new role, Anderson will provide direct management and oversight of purchasing, planning, receiving, material handling, shipping, and customer site deliveries. He will also work closely with suppliers and customers to ensure on-time, complete and error-free delivery of products and projects.

A LeMar employee since 2011, Anderson previously held the positions of shipping manager and planner/scheduler. Before joining LeMar, he gained three years of experience as a shipping mManager.

Anderson currently resides in his hometown of Des Moines, IA.

Tony Rabey promoted to sales and customer service manager

Tony Rabey has been promoted to sales and customer service manager for LeMar Industries.

Rabey’s new responsibilities in this position include the growth and maintenance of customer accounts and relationships.

Rabey will lead the LeMar sales team to provide the highest quality structural product solutions designed and produced in Des Moines, IA.

A CTB Midwest Employee since 2018, Rabey previously served as a sales representative for LeMar Industries.

During his tenure in this role, he collaborated with sales and engineering teams to generate ideal customer structural sales solutions. Rabey joined Brock and LeMar Industries with 13 years of experience working in sales and customer service across the automotive and architectural industries.

Rabey is a graduate of Upper Iowa University, Des Moines, IA. He is originally from State Center, IA, and currently resides in Ankeny, IA.

Devin Walters has been promoted to Production Planning & Purchasing supervisor for the Brock Grain Conditioning Group, Frankfort, IN.

In his new role, Walters will manage materials handling and fabrication scheduling. He will also research, source and evaluate vendors, as well as manage the inventory levels and accuracy to ensure company goals and customer ordering timelines are met.

A CTB employee since 2013, Walters previously held the positions of Brock Commercial Tower Dryer (BCT) Department Lead/BCT Temp Associate and Buyer/Planner, holding both positions at the Frankfort, Indiana facility.

Walters is a native of Frankfort, IN, and attended the University of Southern Indiana, Evansville, IN, where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in marketing.

Walters currently resides in Lafayette, IN.
