A grain bin fire northwest of Lake Park, MN, had fire crews busy Thursday afternoon according toa report at DL-Online.
The fire started just before 2 p.m. in a corn bin at 11345 County Highway 14. According to a Becker County Deputy on the scene, there was very little corn in the bin, which meant the fire was short-lived.
Fire crews from Lake Park and Hitterdal responded to the fire and were still on the scene to monitor the smoldering bin as of Thursday 5 p.m.
"They didn't know what started it (as of Thursday afternoon)," said Becker County Sheriff Todd Glander, who was also on the scene. "But nobody was hurt."
