Don Giesting – Innovation Lead for MicroNutrition, Cargill Animal Nutrition – North America
Don spent three years at the Central Soya Company before joining Cargill Animal Nutrition in 1990. He has worked in various capacities with Cargill including swine nutrition technology development, ingredient evaluation & formulation system development, laboratory management, and customer solution. For the past 20 years, he has worked on Cargill non-medicated feed additive solutions. Currently, Don leads innovation, development, and application of specialty additives, collaborating with teams of colleagues across animal species for Cargill Animal Nutrition North America. Don has a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science from Purdue University, and a Master of Science and a Doctor of Philosophy in Swine Nutrition from the University of Illinois.
Lorena Ramos – Senior Nutritionist, Cargill Protein – Latin America
Lorena joined Cargill’s Feed & Nutrition business in 1989 and has held various roles of increasing responsibility over the last 30+ years. Since 2012 she has been part of the Regional Poultry Nutrition group within the Live Production Function in Cargill Protein Latin America, as a Senior Formulation Specialist, where she leads initiatives related to the deployment of technology at Cargill Nutrition. She coordinates the Veterinary and Special Supplement Programs, as well as the formulation for Honduras and Colombia poultry operations. Lorena holds a Professional Science Master’s degree in Nutrition from North Carolina State University, a Bachelor of Science in Agribusiness from Universidad de San Pedro Sula, and a Master of Business Administration from the Universidad Latina de Costa Rica.
Clement Soulet – Global Category Manager for Additives, Cargill Animal Nutrition, Global
Clement spent several years working for a global consulting company in Paris before joining the feed additive company Pancosma (ADM) as the Business Development Manager for several feed additive ranges. After eight years at ADM, in February of 2018, Clement joined Cargill Animal Nutrition as the Category Lead on the Global Additives Team where he leads the execution and deployment of Cargill Animal Nutrition’s mycotoxin risk management strategy. Clement has a Master of Science in Animal Production from AgroParisTech, with a specialization in management, innovation, and business performance.
