An official with Growth Energy expects Canada to remain a major export market for U.S. ethanol in 2021.
Chris Bliley says Ontario recently announced a program looking at 15% renewable content in gasoline by 2030.
“And the Canadian federal government has put out a clean fuel standard plan that models a scenario with E15, or 15% ethanol, by 2030,” he says.
Bliley tellsBrownfieldCanada and Brazil were the top two importers of U.S. ethanol this year.
