Global Industries, Inc. Announces North American Sales Promotions

Global Industries, Inc. a leading worldwide manufacturer of grain storage, handling and conditioning products., recently announced several promotions within their North American sales organization.

Jared Hopper was appointed to the newly created position of North American Sales Manager for Global Industries. Formerly the Sales Manager for Global’s Hutchinson/Mayrath division, Hopper will now oversee and coordinate the sales activities of North American Territory Managers for all Global divisions. This new role will enable Hopper to better manage and synchronize sales strategies between the different divisions while leveraging the multiple product lines Global companies offer to better serve customer needs.

A graduate of Kansas State University, Hopper holds a Master’s Degree in Agricultural Economics and will continue to operate out of the Hutchinson/Mayrath facility in Clay Center, Kansas.

In a related move, Cory Pladson was promoted to the Inside Sales Manager position at Hutchinson/Mayrath. A North Dakota native and a Business Management graduate of Newman University, Pladson joined the company in 2014 as Assistant Sales/Marketing Manager.

Dave Forbes has been named Inside Sales Manager for Global’s MFS/York/Stormor/Brownie division. Previously the Product Manager for the divisions’ Grain Handling operations, Forbes will now assume responsibility for day-to-day inside sales activities of the company’s various product lines while maintaining oversight of the York product category. An employee since 1980, Forbes has held a wide variety of sales and sales management positions during his tenure.
