The U.S. corn and soybean harvests are virtually complete in several major producing states, according to theUSDA weekly Crop Progressreport released Monday.
According toSuccessful Farming, the report also shows winter wheat emergence at a normal pace, with the crop’s condition little changed from a week ago.
CORN: As of Sunday, 95% of the U.S. corn was harvested vs. an 87% five-year average.
SOYBEANS: As of Sunday, 96% of the U.S. soybean crop had been cut, above a 93% five-year average.
WHEAT: In its report Monday, the USDA rated the U.S. winter wheat crop as 85% emerged vs. a 84% five-year average.
