Does your team have the skills and experience to perform preventative maintenance and fix something when it breaks?
GEAPS and Kansas State University (K-State) have designedHands-On Training (HOT) Programto train your team on real, operating grain conveying equipment.
Some equipment failure can be prevented, and employees will only learn how to really maintain and fix equipment by practicing.
Over the course of two and a half days, your team will work directly on:
- Bucket elevator
- Distributors
- Screw conveyors
- Bin sweep
- Chain conveyors
- Belt conveyors
Course Details
The HOT Program takes place Dec. 1-3, 2020, in the Hal Ross Flour Mill at Kansas State University. It costs $1,375 for GEAPS members and $1,725 for non-members.
If a minimum number of attendees is not reached by Monday, Oct. 19, the program will be cancelled and attendees will be refunded registration fees. If the program is cancelled due to COVID-19, attendees will receive a full refund.
Come Prepared With Pre-Training Modules
Safety and lubrication are key components of the HOT program. Before you start the training, you will complete three hour-long online modules on safety, lubrication and the development and implementation of comprehensive preventative maintenance programs.
