Selecting the right feed bag for the right product

This begins with a true story from my early days as a commercialnutritionistin the U.S. At some point, I designed a piglet feed line based on high levels of molasses. Now, most such feeds contain at maximum 4% molasses because it takes special facilities to handle more than that during mixing, but, we did have such facilities so the molasses level was well over 10%.
